BLACK ARTISTS AWARDS '22

Main content start

In observance of Tracy Oliver's '07 and Issa Rae's '07 mission to uplift Black creativity, we want to celebrate and recognize the amazing art Black students have created this year. On May 28th, we are hosting the first annual Black Artists Awards: an awards ceremony to honor Black student artists at Stanford.

We are asking for our community’s help in recognizing Black creatives who have contributed to and/or created any and all forms of art.

Nominations are now open for Black actors, composers, designers, writers, directors, singers, poets, visual artists, stage managers, dancers, producers, choreographers, musicians, content creators, and all others who have played a part in creating art!

All nominees will be honored at the ceremony. Rather than designating winners, we will be celebrating all artists for their creative excellence.
